Canoe Safari
ZRMANJA CANOE SAFARI
Zrmanja and Krupa are among the most beautiful rivers in Europe: perfectly clear warm water, spectacular canyons with magnificent waterfalls. They are easy and safe enough for beginner canoeists and theirs sceneries makes them very exciting. You will see many breeds of fish and birds and explore typical karst phenomenon – living travertine waterfalls. The trip begins in Kastel Zegarski, only one hour drive from Zadar. You will quickly learn how to handle sit-on-top kayaks as you slowly enter the canyon. After the first hour of paddling down easy rapids you will – if time and weather permits – visit and swim under beautiful Krupa waterfalls. More waterfalls and rapids wait for you as you continue down Zrmanja towards Muskovci where the trip ends. At the end of the trip optionally you can enjoy refreshments at a nearby restaurant or take a picnic on your own.
No previous kayaking experience is needed and even children from 6 years of age, accompanied by parents, can participate. We use two-person sit-on-top kayaks which are easy and safe to navigate. You will get a life jacket , a helmet and a paddle, plus long neoprene suit and a rain jacket in case of cold weather. Waterproof containers are available for personal items (camera drinks, etc.). Don’t forget to bring shorts or a bathing suit, a T-shirt, water shoes, a towel, sun cream and water.

History of
The Paklenica
Paklenica National Park is the most visited climbing center in Croatia, also popular outside Croatia. The close proximity of seawater gives this climbing site a special charm, making Paklenica Riviera an ideal place to combine climbing and water sports. Today, there are about 500 well-equipped marked routes of different difficulty and length (from grade 3 to 8b+), set in the carbonate rocks, so each climber can find something to his/her liking.

Simply awesome experience!
Katarina and Frane were great and very friendly. They handled our 8yo with great care and encouragement and helped her get over the initial fear. We felt completely safe and had a wonderful time. Nika says: I had a great time! It was really fun and I hope to come again each year. Thank you!

Amazing experience
We are a family with a 12 year old. I am scared of heights but did not have any issue doing this. Whilst I was scared to start with I was fine. Lots of encouragement and reassurance from the team and would recommend this to anyone on the area. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
